Sienna Dress

I think my dd might be a tad too old for this pattern as it comes out of the printer (or maybe I messed it up at some point) but I have a few modications in mind for my next go at it.  Perhaps it’d look better if I were to actually hem it.  Nevertheless, it looks like a nightshirt to me, particularly due to the thin ribknit I used for the pink.  And the fact that I somehow forgot how to use the differential feed on my serger.  And the fact that my colorblocking skills obviously need work. <blush> The Spongebob panel is upcycled from an outgrown PJ top of Kayla’s.  Katie loves it, and she needs nighties way more than she needs dresses, so all’s good here.  I’ll definitely be making this again.  As soon as I get some posterboard so I can ditch my taped-together 8.5×11 sheets.  (He he…I said “sheets.”  Nevermind, it’s something my 12yo is constantly saying when I say “sheets.”)  Excuse the silly modeling shots.  She’s watched me shoot aspiring models one time too many apparently. 😉
