Some days, I just am craving a big, fancy salad. You can’t see everything in here:
romaine
english cuke
roma tomato
chick peas
hardboiled egg
shredded cheddar
bleu cheese crumbles
my homemade bleu cheese sauce/dressing (I make this for turkey burgers and use it up on salads, recipe below)
Homemade Bleu Cheese Sauce/Dip/Dressing
1/2 c sour cream
1/2 c mayo
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 tbs. garlic powder
1 tbs. freeze-dried chives
black pepper
bleu cheese crumbles to taste (I like to use about 1/4-1/2 cup in a variety of big and fine pieces!)
